Corporate Golf Apparel

The way your employees conduct themselves and what brand names they are carrying on their clothing communicates things about the product or services your company is offering to the people. In such matters, the impression you create in turn creates a corporate identity or image for your company in the minds of people.

Your company could also offer corporate gifts to people or promote your corporate golf apparel by offering a huge variety of clothes items and accessories to go with them. People tend to keep these items as a memento of the pleasant moments they have had at your company’s golf games. Some of the best examples of corporate golf apparel are Levi Strauss and Nike.

Corporations prefer to sell long-sleeved golf t-shirts these days mostly to women. Untucked shirts are a popular fashion amongst men these days. Selling the shirts with V-neck, scoop neck or the Cardigan vest types is a great idea. These are some of the most popular types of golf shirts today.

Golf bags, bats and caps are increasingly being sold by most corporations; some corporations hold team events in which they gift pens, custom t-shirts and other fancy items. You could alternatively follow such examples and even offer golf-related magazines, training courses and workshops for golf at a reasonable price. Other promotional ideas are corporate golf holiday packages, where people go on a holiday to play their favorite game. However avoid overdoing promotional programs.

If you need better and more professional ideas, you need to take the services of either an advertising agency or an event management agency.

Custom Printing

If you are looking for something very special, then you can have it customised. Customised printing allows you to design products at your will. For example you can have a coffee mug with the logo of your company printed on it, or you can have the school name printed on the T-shirts for the sports day.

Custom printing usually goes beyond the normal digital printing in giving shape to your ideas. To pick up the right kind of custom printing you need to know about the following options available to you:

Letter press – The letter press printer pulls out amazing printing jobs that allow readers to see and feel with their hands. It is one of the oldest forms of printing and produces text and images that are rich with detail.

Die Cutting – Die Cutting printers allow your printouts to be in different shapes. Various creative agencies use die cutting printers to form their business cards in different shapes such as rectangles, ovals etc. These are done through die cutting printers.

Thermography – Thermography printouts give a rich and raised effect to your texts without putting any extra stress on the paper. On your business card if you want to have a rich feel to your name, then thermography printing is the one to go for. Resin is sprayed on the selected portion and then slowly melted and dried to give you the desired effect.

Foil Stamping – If you need an extra dash of colour to your printing then foil stamping printing process will give you the desired effect. These can help you to highlight the details on your business cards.

I’m designing my own T-Shirt.any suggestions?

I have been looking to buy a T-Shirt with my college’s name on it, but have had no luck finding a design I like. So, I found a place that will custom make a T-Shirt for me with any design I like on it.

So far, my only specifications are that it be
1) a tee shirt
2) have neon pink on it

FYI- the mascot is the lakers…i know weird, and hard to incorporate.
the name of the college is oswego university. it’s a SUNY school.

I would REALLY appreciate any suggestions you have!!

Thanks X

Where is a good place/website to get 1 or 2 t-shirts printed w/ a custom design?

I’ve used customink and it’s great, but they don’t that much variety on types of shirts that can be printed on. I’d like to have t-shirts printed w/ different sleeve length, color, etc… Most businesses in Oklahoma have a minimum # of t-shirts that have to be ordered.
I’ve looked into cafepress. I just want to design a shirt for me; I don’t want to sell to others. Does cafepress allow that? I thought that if you used them that the design would be available for the public to buy.

Pocket Watch To Wrist Watch

We all know time keeping started with the Egyptians around 1500 B.C. There was a lot of innovation and invention between that time and 1524 when one of the first watches was invented in Italy. The piece of watch history that I thought was intriguing was how it evolved from a pocket watch into the timepiece we use today.

Clock technology became small enough to be used in pocket watches in the 16th century. They were big and clunky until the 17th century when design was applied to the pocket watch. Pocket watches were typically worn by the rich upper class. The technology grew smaller and women started wearing wrist watches. The women’s wristwatches or wristlets were considered quite feminine and any man’s man would not were a wristlet.

This all changed during the Boer war (1899 – 1902). A little trivia fact here this Boer war was actually they second Boer war and these colonies later created the Union of South Africa. Although the British were better trained and had better equipment they needed precise timing to out maneuver the entrenched Boers . Some of the troops began strapping pocket watches to their wrists with leather straps. This allowed them to keep track of time without interfering with combat.

The idea began in the Boer war but caught on in World War I. Watches were manufactured with metal guards that protected the watch face and allowed the wearer to tell time.

And of course what is more masculine than a soldier in combat. When soldiers came back home wearing wrist watches no one was going to make fun of them. Watch manufacturers started producing the wristwatch to fulfill military orders. There you have it from pocket watch to wristwatch.

Tips For Petite Brides

There are many wonderful things about being petite. You are dainty, you have adorable little feet, and you can buy your t-shirts at GapKids. However, when you start shopping for your wedding gown and related accessories, you may find that being petite poses a bit of a problem. With persistence, and a really good seamstress, you will be able to find a gown that fits your frame perfectly.

At 5′1″, I found shopping for a bridal gown to be downright hilarious at times. It was hard to imagine if a dress would really look good once a foot of fabric was chopped off from the hem. Even standing on the pedestals at the bridal shop only helped so much. I had loved the look of dresses with a band of satin fabric around the hem until the bridal shop associate lifted it up to show me where it would be once the gown was hemmed for my height – there was practically no skirt left between the waistline and the satin trim! Also strictly off limits were any gowns with beading, embroidery, or lace embellishments on the hemline.

It is not only hemlines that pose a challenge for the petite bride. When trying on the sample dresses in bridal shops, you are likely to find that the waistlines hover somewhere in the vicinity of your knees. If you have a short torso like I do, it looks even sillier. In general, most petite brides will look best in gowns with a natural waist (hitting right at the smallest part of your waist), an empire waist (hitting right under the bust), or a princess seam gown (also known as a fit and flare style, there is no break at the waistline).

For a good fit, look for bridal gowns that can be ordered with custom measurements. Most of the fine designers allow the bridal shop to order a gown with an adjustment to the torso length, and with other specifications as well. Buying a wedding gown is not like buying a shirt or a pair of jeans; if it does not fit your body exactly, it will not look good at all, so it is worth it to do whatever it takes to get it adjusted to your frame.

Another option is to have a seamstress custom make a bridal gown especially for you. It is likely to be a more expensive option up front (and if it is not, be wary of the talent level of the seamstress). However, by the time that you have factored in custom measurements and the standard alterations on top of the price of a designer gown, you may be surprised at how close they are in cost. With a custom gown, you will be assured of a perfect fit.

Once you have found the perfect wedding gown, it is time to accessorize it. The accessories are easier because fit is not an issue, but you still want to pay attention to proportion. It should never look like your wedding jewelry, headpiece, and veil are wearing you instead of the other way around. Custom bridal jewelry is a wonderful option, because you can have bracelets made to fit smaller wrists, necklaces shortened as needed, and earrings made to be just the right length. When created from precious materials like Swarovski crystals, sterling silver, and freshwater pearls, custom bridal jewelry is as affordable as it is fabulous.

Headpieces for petite brides will look best when they are not overwhelming. Consider dainty tiaras, small clips, or hairpins. It may come as a surprise, but a long veil (at least floor length) is often a terrific choice for the petite bride, because it creates a long, uninterrupted line. If you prefer a shorter veil, be cautious about heavy borders that can visually cut you in half. Simpler is usually better.

Even though the process may be a bit more involved, every petite bride can find a wedding gown that is perfect for her style and size. It is all a matter of good proportion. And a petite bride does not have to wear high heels if she doesn’t like them – you can always stand on a step above your groom for the pictures!
